FoDRoW Friends of Dorset's Rights of Way

This lane is a pleasant and scenic drive, quite long, about 17 mins at my driving speeds, about 30 mins at everyone else's!  There are good views out to the left and right over valleys and plenty of places to stop and have a break. There's a large car park at the west end.

About halfway down there is a point at which it meets a normal road and it appears there's a very small illegal off-road track there, not muddy or particularly ugly but still probably a source of local aggro.  It could just be people on BMXes or mountain bikes of course.

A short but sweet lane, best done from the south-west end.  It gets very steep quite quickly but the ground is pretty firm.  It's wide-ish so not scratchy and some chaps on road tyres got up there fine some time ago when we went up after a FoDRoW clearance.
