Location of greenlanes

Please note that although the nearest postcode is supplied for every greenlane in our database, it is only the nearest postal address to the greenlane. To precisely locate a greenlane, please use the latitude and longitude bearings supplied, and the OS Grid References.

Each greenlane record provides a link to Google Maps, which will take you directly to a map of the greenlane.

To get directions to a greenlane from a specified point, use the directions tab on the google map page and enter the postcode of your starting point - google will then calculate a route to the greenlane for you.

You can sign-up to a greenlane to receive updates by e-mail if any changes are made to the greenlane record on this site (click, edit at the top of the page, then select sign-ups at the top of the page, and enter your details).

As a subscribed member you can also update the details on a greenlane page by using the 'edit' tab at the top of the page (next to the name of the greenlane), altering the relevant details under 'lane details' and clicking 'save'. If you are not confident about editing the page, you can always just leave a comment on that particular greenlane instead (click on 'comment' at the bottom of the page).

If you travel a greenlane, please update the website with a current status of the greenlane, so the rest of us can benefit from your knowledge. A lot of the details entered on the database currently have not been updated for some time. Support the charity and the other members!

In addition to the varied ways available to you to find a greenlane (under the 'members' menu on the right), you can also use the 'search tool' (also on the right). The search tool provides a tab called 'location'. If 'location' is selected, and then 'advanced search' is clicked, you will get access to a proximity search tool. This allows you to either click your position on a mpa, or enter your postcide / latitude and longitude, and search for greenlanes within X miles of where you are.

Happy greenlaning!
